Job Description –
• Conceptualise and anchor research on the impact areas, relevant to work of Akshaya Patra.
• Lead engagement with 3rd party research, impact assessment agencies, research institutions to drive on-field research
• Formulate scope and nature of different studies to be carried to substantiate the work and outcome of Akshaya Patra
• Monitor and ensure the quality of the field work and data management during the implementation phase, and the quality of the analysis and ease of understanding during the report writing phase
• Communicate results of research projects to internal and external constituents through a variety of avenues (research reports, convening, trainings, conference presentations, web resources, etc.)
• Serve as the coordinator for local participation in state wide or national initiatives (Health & Economic Prosperity Reports, etc.)
• Ensure that the monitoring and evaluation capacities within local operations of Akshaya Patra are strengthened enabling them to increasingly engage in and lead monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Promote the awareness and understanding of the shared responsibility of M&E function among all staff members through communication, training, learning and development activities organization-wide.
• Education – Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Social Work.
Experience & Skills
• 3+ Years of experience in social sector
• Demonstrated expertise in operations research, impact evaluation, and monitoring and evaluation of nutrition and other public health programs
• Prior experience of working with field research agencies
• Effective Project Management skills
• Excellent Communication & analytical skills
• Stakeholder engagement skills
