Job Opportunity for Farm Supervisor at Shivaa at Wada

FARM SUPERVISOR AT WADA – 70 km from Mumbai (Food & Stay Facilities to be provided)

• Degree – BSE / Diploma- Horticulture with minimum 5+ years of experience on field doing farming activities.
• Coordination with administrative job on, land preparation, fertilizing, planting crops, cultivation, and harvesting of experimental feed crops.
• Plans and supervises the planting, cultivating, harvesting and storing of field and garden crops on large and complex institutional farms.
• Ability to Make reports on time of equipment, materials, and production list and prepares estimates of needs on farm before time & submits to manager.
• Assist on farming and harvesting operations on field with local farmers. 
• Assist on land preparation, irrigation, fertilisation, pest and disease management.
• Multi-tasking skills, detail oriented, ability to work well with others, good organizational skills, strong leadership and motivational skills to converse & convenes with local farmers in the region.
• Passion with agricultural activities like, Cropping, Pest and Disease control, Crop maintenance, Production, cultivating, and harvesting skills, as per season.
• Knowledge& management of Seed Production, Farming Equipments & Livestock is very necessary.
• History or family background in Agricultural or farming would be an advantage.
• Organising sales and purchases of livestock, farm equipment, crops and agricultural products.
