Job Title Manager Placements and Outreach

Location: Delhi (Hybrid)- Full-time position

India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS) is a non-profit that aims to be Indias preeminent talent infusion & upskilling organization for the social sector. We aim to double the effectiveness of the top 500 non-profits in the sector to create catalytic impact at scale.

Overview

To achieve the mission, ILSS has a three-pronged approach:

– Bringing corporate talent into leadership and board positions in the social sector

– Running well-researched capacity-building programs in critical domains for the social sector

– Building the social sector ecosystem with a strong focus on high-quality talent/talent development.

Position Summary

ILSS is looking for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic Placements and Outreach Professional who will be responsible for driving placements and outreach for the alumni graduating out of ILSS Leadership Programs.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Placement

– Support the ILSS Leadership Program Alumni network through the complete hiring lifecycle

– Reaching out to the Social sector organizations for open roles for recruiting the ILSS Alumni

– Building a strong & and healthy relationship with both internal and external stakeholders

– Identifying and resolving the issues evolving during the hiring and finding resolutions promptly.

– In-depth Needs Analysis and expectation mapping of the candidates and the clients

– Responsible for Employer branding by positioning the ILSS Alumni in the right roles, ensuring smooth transitioning – Interview, offer & and joining process.

– Create and maintain an accurate and updated database with appropriate metrics to track and monitor resource requirements in a timely manner.

Outreach

– Design an effective outreach strategy to build new partnerships and leverage existing partnerships

– Acquire and develop a portfolio of clients from the social sector and explore synergies with the existing ILSS Alumni pool, interns of full-time, Part-time, and Pro Bono engagements

– Select and present the most suitable candidates to the clients – advise both clients and candidates during the assignment

– Partner with senior stakeholders within client organizations in determining and anticipating their human capital requirements

Internal Recruitment Support

– Ensure recruitment processes reflect a broader hiring strategy to ensure closures within the given TAT.

– Ensuring smooth transitioning – Interview, offer & joining process.

– Managing salary negotiation, background verification/ Reference Checks & feedback

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills that are required for this role:

– A Master’s degree from top-tier institutions in a relevant field, including business, industrial/ organizational psychology, human resources, communications, or a related field.

– 3-5 years of work experience in recruitment and outreach.

– Excellent networking and relationship-building skills and the ability to recognize, inspire, and map the talent from the Alumni Pool with Job opportunities

– Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with external and internal audiences

– Strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to set priorities, plan timelines, and meet deadlines

– Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong outreach mindset and go-getter attitude

– Thrives on building strong networks, nurturing relationships with the Alumni Pool, and partner organizations in the social sector

– Highly motivated and able to work independently to agreed goals and targets and take ownership of the overall recruitment and placement strategy and process.

– Ability to understand organizations in the social sector and to run a thorough and high-quality search process, including outreach, engagement, and evaluation

– Demonstrate sensitivity, confidentiality, and discretion in their interactions and engagement with prospective and active candidates, beyond the recruitment process

– Proficient in databases and Applications

– Ability to apply advanced strategies to source candidates

– Great organization and analytical skills

– Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks

– Excellent attention to detail and process orientation

Compensation

Depending on the candidates experience, the organization offers compensation on par with Indian philanthropy pay scales
