About the position:
We have developed an Android Application and a cloud-based platform as a turnkey solution for telehealth programs. We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. You will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. You will work closely with other development and technical teams.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test Android applications.
- Lead the development of complex Android applications and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Implement clean and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure security and data protection in mobile applications.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of mobile applications.
- Create technical documentation for application development.
- Mentor and support junior developers to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, etc.
Experience:
- 4 to 6 years of work experience with native Android, Java & Sqlite.
Skill Sets:
Essential:
- Must be proficient with Object Oriented Programming concepts & Core Java
- Researching, designing, implementing, and managing applications
- Testing and evaluating new features
- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
- Writing and implementing efficient code
- Must be open to learn new technologies and concepts
Desirable:
- Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly
- An analytical mind
- The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data
