The Apprentice Project (TAP) is a for-impact organisation determined to transform Government/low-income schools by offering holistic development of all children. At TAP, we use choice-based learning (Visual arts, Performing arts, or STEM) to develop leadership skills.
Key Job Areas
Creation and Evaluation
● Collaborate with the program team to create, validate or refine their impact measurement strategy and Theory of Change
● Support M&E Manager to define the monitoring and evaluation framework for each program including metrics and identify what is driving/hindering data collection
● Support M&E Manager to design evaluations for program effectiveness (conducting literature reviews, need assessments, data analysis etc.), end-to-end research design & analysis, including secondary research
● Help drive evaluation (including third-party and multi-player evaluation) where the focus will be on deep understanding of the outcomes to generate insights to help refine/enhance the work on the ground
● Support the Manager in managing the set-up, maintenance and rigour of our monitoring tools and related data processes and systems (survey forms to dashboard pipeline)
Stakeholder Management
● Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including other operating organisations, funders, M&E organisations and organisations doing field data collection (traditional and new) that are interested/working in the evaluation and impact measurement space
● Working closely with the execution team to ensure stakeholder mobilisation and engagement for all research and evaluation activities
● Developing and managing data collection-related capacity building among all stakeholders to ensure high-quality data collection
Qualifications & Experience
● Graduate/Postgraduate in any field
● 0 to 2 years of work experience in any relevant field/fellowship
● Experience in formulating data design and establishing a sound analytical framework around it
● The ability to apply the knowledge of theoretical frameworks to practical situations
● Experience in formulating data design and establishing a sound analytical framework around it
● A strong desire to make a difference and are passionate about solving difficult problems
● Evaluation or M&E experience in India or other developing countries (across rural/urban livelihoods, education, health, environment) would be preferred

Compensation is provided at par with the sector benchmark for this position in alignment with the individual’s prior experience and qualifications.
