Responsibilities:
- Target realisation (New Acquisitions & Retention) as per the organisation’s objective through fundraising
- Maintaining good public relations with school principals, individual donors and various national and international organisations/institutions of the region
- Support fundraising activities (donor queries, donor visits, face-to-face meetings, stalls, corporate meetings, volunteering, etc)
- Organising events like quizzes, drawing competitions etc for schools
- Expanding the network of the donors as per agreed goals.
- Reach existing donors to renew and upgrade relationships
- Manage relevant reporting requirements, donor feedback and donor data management for analysis and better donor relations
- Complement the activities of other departments and provide support wherever required
This job involves extensive travelling and is target/revenue oriented. - Strictly follow the organisational work plan and individual activity plan ensuring adherence to quality and timeliness of deliverables.
- Qualifications:
- Graduate preferably with a management diploma/degree with 2 to 3 years of experience.
- Prior experience in fundraising operations activities in the development sector and/or experience in banking/retail/telecom is desirable.
- Freshers are also welcome
Key Technical Attributes: - Should have excellent communication skills both written as well as oral
- Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently
- Should have good presentation and PR skills
- Experience in MS Office mainly Word, Excel & PPT
- Exposure to social marketing is desirable
- Should be sensitive to the cause of the organisation
- Remuneration will be as per HelpAge India’s overall salary structure.
