Job Opportunity for Medical Officer – MBBS at Azim Premji Foundation in Bengaluru

Azim Premji Foundation is inviting applications from experienced Doctors (MBBS/MDs/DNBs -Family/Community Medicine) for our Health Centresset up in urban vulnerable settlements in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Responsibilities:

• Doctors will be responsible for the clinical services, medical operations, health education and community outreach.
• Lead the medical team at the Health Centre including the delivery of services, the pharmacy and the lab.
• Outreach and visits to the local community, nearby settlements, guide and mentor the community health workers.
• Collaborate with the public health system in the local area as well as develop and execute a local plan that focuses on the health of the population in the target settlement.

Requirements:

• MBBS Doctors, preferably with a background in Family/Community Medicine with 3+ years of work experience.
• Work full-time (6 days a week, Mon-Sat) with us in the underserved communities.
• The ability to work across any of our Health Centres in Bengaluru would be an advantage.
• The ability to speak both Kannada and Hindi is preferred.
