Skills & Competencies required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/ Master degree in social sciences, social work, agriculture, rural development, environmental science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in rural development and community work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
Skills and Competencies: - Enthusiastic and proactive approach to learning and work.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel at least a week in month and work in rural areas.
Job Profile
- Field Work and Community Engagement:
- Assist in mobilizing and organizing community members/groups.
- Facilitate community meetings and training sessions.
- Support community members in planning and implementing development activities.
Project Implementation: - Assist in the execution of project activities as per the project guidelines
- Monitor and report on the progress of project activities.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of project inputs and outputs.
Data Collection and Reporting: - Collect field data and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare regular reports on project activities and outcomes.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving project effectiveness.
Capacity Building: - Participate in training sessions and workshops organized by AKRSPI.
- Assist in the development and dissemination of training materials.
Collaboration and Coordination: - Work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with local government officials and other organizations involved in rural development.
