Job Opportunity For Head, The/Nudge Innovation Cell in Agriculture- At The Nudge Institute Bhopal Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

In this role, you will:

● Conduct the landscape review, government and industry needs, and define the high
level outcomes and opportunities, project focus areas driven through AI and
emerging technologies.
● Analyse the technology innovation ecosystem, especially AI/ML-led innovations, to
address the challenges and capture potential opportunities in Agriculture.

● Prototype, test, and iterate—Pilot and sandbox projects with government and
industry partners to test the impact and technology feasibility. Collect key learnings
from the pilots and understand the data enablement and data needs of each pilot.
The goal would be to find a solution that meets the stakeholders’ needs.
● Own the overall strategy and outcomes of the program by collaborating with the
state government, Agri startups, relevant stakeholders and partners. Ensure that
workstreams are on track, enable the project charter, align stakeholders, and ensure
the goals and outcomes are delivered. Ensure consistent project status reporting and
project-linked data dashboards in order to ensure performance tracking and timely
course correction
● Contribute to the advancement of agriculture in MP, and bring about positive
changes for target beneficiaries, including farmers, farmer organizations, extension
workers and the broader rural population.

Apply If You Have:

● Domain Knowledge in Agriculture –Understanding of challenges and opportunities,
in Agriculture. Innovation ecosystem in India and globally for AI and policy and
governance issues.
● Experience & track record of success – A minimum of 15 years of overall work
experience, preferably in Agri-tech or technology. A successful track record in
program and people management, along with a strong technology orientation
● Managing Stakeholders – Demonstrated ability to navigate and manage projects
across diverse internal and external partners and senior government stakeholders
and projects. demonstrated ability to work under uncertainty, ability to articulate a
vision, and secure buy-in from stakeholders
● Ability to design and drive medium to large-scale project design and delivery-
Experience in project management, especially entrepreneurial projects, experience in
managing conflicts in teams and managing large and small-scale events,
● Passion for Impact- Perseverance, passion and influence to improve rural livelihoods
in Agriculture by building awareness and cooperation, shaping mindsets and agendas
and driving collective action in working through local challenges with a sense of
urgency.
● Technology depth—AI specialist with an in-depth understanding of emerging
technology implications in domains, an overview of AI innovations and the landscape
of start-up ecosystems, use cases, and technology maturity challenges for local
adoption.
● Technology Governance and Policy—Preferred experience and understanding of the
Government regulation and policy landscape, Certifications, Incentive structures,
Standard operating procedures, Industry standards/norms, etc., for the adoption of
emerging technologies.
● Excellent networking skills to manage and curate community eco-system. Ability to
quickly develop a meaningful perspective on internal and external issues that have
organisational impact

● Communications Skills – Excellent verbal and written language skills in English and
proficiency in Hindi dialect. Strong presentation and facilitation skills
