## Senior Associate – Amazon Future Engineer

**About Leadership For Equity (LFE)**

Leadership For Skilled Education Foundation (branded as Leadership For Equity, LFE) is a non-profit (NGO) based out of Pune, Maharashtra. LFE envisions public education systems that refuse to let children down.

**LFE’s Approach:**

LFE takes a two-pronged approach to change:

* Building the capacity of government system leaders.

* Influencing system processes.

In partnership with local and state education bodies, LFE co-creates programs that shift teaching-learning practices and improve student learning and well-being. This work, coupled with research and advisory support to influence policies, aims to create an effective government education system.

**LFE’s Impact:** Over the last 5 years, LFE has built the capacity of 2100+ system leaders and 40,200+ teachers to impact 8 million students across Maharashtra. LFE has expanded its operations and is now working in three other states: Haryana, Tripura, and Andhra Pradesh.

**LFE’s Belief:** Public education systems are the gatekeepers of social equity, especially for India’s 120 million poorest-of-the-poor children who attend government-run schools. Addressing the systemic problem of educational inequity requires a solution rooted in the SYSTEMS CHANGE approach.  LFE believes a collective effort through forging partnerships with governments, like-minded philanthropists, corporates, donors, nonprofits, and grassroots organizations will help bring scalable and sustainable social change.
