## Job Description: Training Coordinator
**About Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India)**
Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) (AKRSP(I)) is a leading non-profit organization working across various states in India, focusing on improving the livelihoods of rural communities. AKRSP(I) is part of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), a global network of agencies working in over 30 countries to promote sustainable development.
**Job Location:** Sayla, Gujarat
**Experience Required:** 2-4 Years in the development sector, with at least 1 year in capacity building theme
**Education Required:** The candidate should have a Masters degree in rural management/ development or social studies/social work or other relevant fields
**About the Role:**
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Training Coordinator to join our team in Sayla, Gujarat. The Training Coordinator will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating capacity building programs for various stakeholders, including self-help groups, community members, CBOs, staff of NGOs/GOs, and AKRSP(I) staff.
**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct, support, coordinate, and supervise capacity building programs.
* Undertake training need assessments and design training programs for diverse stakeholders.
* Develop training modules and compile reference materials.
* Prepare comprehensive reports, impact studies, and other documentation.
* Ensure effective design, implementation, and follow-up of training action plans.
* Prepare Quarterly Progress Reports (QPR), Half-Yearly Progress Reports (HYPR), and Annual Progress Reports (APR) for training centre activities.
* Ensure proper planning, execution, and evaluation of all training programs conducted at the Training Centre.
* Foster strong partnerships and liaisons with various agencies and organizations to promote capacity building initiatives.
* Maintain and update Management Information Systems related to capacity building activities.
* Provide data and reports to the Head Office as required.
* Represent the organization effectively at various levels.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.
**Skills and Competencies:**
* Excellent training skills with a proven ability to engage participants.
* Expertise in using diverse training tools and methods, including virtual/online platforms.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and documentation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
