**About the India Schools Team**
The Schools Team at Khan Academy India partners with government school systems to improve student learning outcomes. We provide support and resources to teachers and administrators, enabling them to effectively utilize the Khan Academy platform. Our goal is to scale our impact to reach millions of learners across India.
**About the Role**
We are seeking a Divisional Coordinator to join our growing Schools Team in Odisha. This is a 12-month contract role based in one of the divisions of Odisha, responsible for all districts within the division – Sambalpur, Cuttack, and Berhampur.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Support Program Implementation:** Work closely with the Odisha State Team to ensure successful implementation of the Khan Academy platform across government schools in your assigned districts. This includes:
* Delivering and supporting training programs for education officials, principals, and teachers on a regular basis.
* Monitoring program progress, identifying challenges, and providing solutions.
* Regularly visiting assigned schools to provide support and guidance to teachers.
* **Identify and Replicate Best Practices:** Analyze successful implementation strategies across schools within your districts and share those best practices with others.
* **Manage Relationships:** Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including district-level officials, principals, and school staff.
* **Conduct Regular School Visits:** Conduct frequent school visits to gather feedback, assess program impact, and develop plans to improve program usage.
* **Analyze Qualitative Feedback:** Collect and analyze feedback from state systems and share insights with the team.
* **Provide Additional Support:** Provide additional support to the program as needed.
**About You**
* You have 2+ years of relevant work experience, ideally with a background in education or experience working with government schools in Odisha.
* You are fluent in Odia (spoken and written).
* You possess strong collaborative skills and are able to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* You are an excellent communicator, capable of adapting your communication style to various audiences.
* You have exceptional documentation skills and can present information clearly and concisely in both English and Odia.
* You are a quick learner, adaptable to new challenges, and have a bias toward action.
* You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and eager to experiment.
* You are passionate about education and driven to make a positive impact on the world.
* You are comfortable traveling to schools regularly within your assigned districts.
