## Assistant Manager – Programme (Livelihood)

**Job Location:** Pune, India

 

**Experience Required:**

 

* Total of 4 years’ experience

* 2 years’ experience of managing a diverse program implementation team with 5+ members in the Social Sector.

* Experience of working in target based projects.

* Experience in Education or Livelihood and experience of engaging stakeholders for program will be preferred.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Prepare and monitor monthly plans for the program and self, ensuring the achievement of expected targets and delivery quality.

* Manage the team by identifying training needs, providing feedback, and offering handholding support.

* Review and provide feedback to the team on plans, reports, budgets, and data updated on MIS.

* Organize and execute the confirmation and appraisal process for all team members.

* Plan and guide the team to ensure all Stakeholder Engagement Activities are conducted as per the program cycle.

* Prepare budgets, track expenses, prepare expense reports, and submit them to the operations manager for approval. 

* Work with accounts to receive cash in advance.

* Analyze the needs and coordinate with employers and corporate partners for organizing Mock Interviews and Placements.

* Identify and connect with resource persons for the team. Conduct guest lectures (2 each month) for different programs including school, youth, and Drama for Development programs.

* Plan and conduct stakeholder meetings to ensure their participation in programs.

* Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process.

* Secure and maintain the utilities and resources at the center.

* Engage volunteers and mentors for different programs.

* Maintain program documentation to monitor and review progress for effective implementation.

* Conduct weekly meetings to review the monthly plan progress of every team member and the program.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

* Graduate degree in Social Sciences or Management.

 

**Required Knowledge:**

 

* Understanding of areas where work with parents is required.

* Knowledge of developmental needs and challenges faced by adolescents and youth.

* Domain and market trends in areas like Retail, Hospitality, Photography, Beauty, Banking, Work Place Readiness, English, and IT.

* Life Skills Development and Career Development.

* Knowledge of community mapping and profiling.

* Knowledge of various strategies used for stakeholder engagement.

* Understanding of social realities and community issues.

* Knowledge of curriculum and assessments.

* Knowledge of how to work in the school system and challenges within the same.

* Donor Communication.

 

**Required Skills:**

* Strong Communication skills in English/Hindi/Marathi

* Documentation – Program Reports and MIS

* Computer Skills (MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

* Analytical skills

* Leadership qualities

* Ability to work within deadlines

**Compensation:**

 

* Competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications.

 

**Working Schedule:**

 

* This role requires a 6-day working week.
