## Job Description: Chief Technical Strategist
**About NASSCOM:**

**Job Location:** Noida, India
**Experience Required:**
* 15+ years of experience in the Technology space, preferably in large enterprises or deep tech start-ups.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Emerging Technology Expertise:** Collaborate with governments, industry experts, academia, and other stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of emerging technologies like AI and its potential benefits for India.
* **Policy Advocacy:** Engage with government and industry to advocate for policies that foster innovation and responsible technology adoption.
* **Thought Leadership:** Work closely with the President to prepare industry viewpoints on issues related to emerging technologies, such as ethics, and engage with stakeholders to drive the right approach for the country.
* **Internal Guidance:** Be the go-to person for emerging tech within NASSCOM and work with internal teams to ensure the right focus and priorities for deep tech initiatives.
* **Industry Representation:** Represent NASSCOM at industry events, conferences, and media engagements as the primary evangelist for emerging technologies.
* **Content Creation:** Build thought leadership through articles, public speeches, etc. to drive advocacy.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
* **Education:** M.Tech/MS in a related field.
* **Experience:** Demonstrated experience working with governments and industry stakeholders in a technology advisory role to CTOs/CEOs/senior leadership.
* **Knowledge:** In-depth knowledge and understanding of latest trends and advancements in emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, IoT, cybersecurity, and quantum computing.
* **Communication:** Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* **Learnability:** Strong ability to learn about new technologies and stay updated with industry trends.
* **Analytical:** Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in project environments with limited data, drawing meaningful conclusions from ambiguous information.
* **Travel:** Willingness to travel as needed.
