## Director – Finance

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Director – Finance** to join our team in **Bangalore, India**. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the foundation’s financial operations, ensuring financial stability, and supporting the organization’s strategic growth.

**Responsibilities:**

* Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

* Manage the foundation’s cash flow, investments, and banking relationships.

* Develop and implement sound financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.

* Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.

* Provide financial guidance and support to the executive team and program staff.

* Manage relationships with external auditors and advisors.

* Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

* Contribute to the development and implementation of the foundation’s strategic plan.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* 10+ years of experience in a financial leadership role within a non-profit organization or a comparable environment.

* Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.

* Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Passion for the foundation’s mission and a commitment to ethical financial practices.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Experience in working with international organizations.

* Familiarity with donor relations and grant accounting.
