## Web GIS Developer – Tech for Conservation

**Job Description:**

We are looking for a talented and passionate Web GIS Developer to join our Tech for Conservation team in New Delhi, India. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining the entire ArcGIS Enterprise environment at WWF-India.  This includes developing and maintaining web applications, maps, and data visualizations that enhance our conservation work.

**Responsibilities:**

* Administer and maintain services for the entire ArcGIS Enterprise environment, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Data Store, and ArcGIS Pro.

* Develop and maintain user-friendly web applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript,  React, Angular, or other web development frameworks. 

* Design, develop, and maintain interactive maps and data visualizations for various conservation projects.

* Collaborate with conservation experts to understand their data needs and translate them into effective GIS solutions.

* Ensure data quality and accuracy within the ArcGIS Enterprise environment.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest GIS technologies and best practices.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

* Minimum 3 years of experience in web GIS development.

* Proven experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS API for JavaScript.

* Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

* Proficiency in at least one web development framework (e.g., React, Angular).

* Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js) is a plus.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
