**Experience Required:**

* Proven experience (3 years) in data management, coordination, reporting, and analysis.

* Experience in the development sector / CSR data management is preferred.

**Job Description:**

As a Data Coordinator at Tata Steel Foundation, you will play a crucial role in collecting, collating, analyzing, and disseminating data related to our programs. Your work will enable informed decision-making and the measurement of our impact. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for using data to drive positive change.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement data collection systems for various programs, ensuring timely data collection.

* Manage, organize, and maintain databases.

* Conduct regular data audits and visit the field to address data quality issues and discrepancies, ensuring data veracity.

* Generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data findings to stakeholders.

* Ensure timely submission of MIS reports and presentations, collaborating with program teams.

* Conduct data analysis to identify trends and provide insights to program teams.

* Provide training and support to program staff in data management and report generation.

* Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and security regulations and policies.

* Support internal and external audits related to data management and reporting.

* Perform any other tasks required by the Strategy team.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Management Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

* Candidates with working experience in the development sector will be given preference.

**Technical Skills:**

* Expertise in MS Excel, including data cleaning, advanced pivot tables, Power Query, macro, visual basic, statistical analysis, etc.

* Proficiency in MIS software applications, databases, and statistical software (e.g. SPSS) is desirable.

* Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is desirable.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Effective communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
