## Development Organizer – Social
**Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) (AKRSP)** is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to improve the lives of rural communities in India. AKRSP is part of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), a global network of institutions working to improve the quality of life for people in developing countries.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Development Organizer – Social** to join our team in **Santalpur Block, Patan District and Vav Block – Banaskantha District, Gujarat**.
**Responsibilities:**
* Community interaction and management
* Conducting PRA exercises, baseline surveys and VDP development
* Contributing towards village development activities like agriculture, watershed, Natural Resource Management, Micro enterprise, animal husbandry etc.
* SHG management and development
* Facilitating institution building
**Qualifications:**
* Graduate/Postgraduate in social science /Rural Development / Rural management / Agriculture / Another related subject, post graduate and relevant experience will be given preference
* Minimum 1.5 – 2 years experience in relevant field. Experience in working with rural communities will be given preference.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic understanding of Planning, Designing and Execution process of development intervention
* Basic understanding of Data and Report writings
* Computer Skills (word, excel, PowerPoint)
* Riding of Two-Wheeler
