## Job Description: Manager, Product Design & Research, Asha Kiran
**About The/Nudge Institute:**
The/Nudge is an action institute dedicated to building resilient livelihoods and alleviating poverty. We work collaboratively with women, farmers, tribals, and youth across 10 states in India, focusing on rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion. We partner with over 15 central and state government agencies and have secured $250M in government funding to reach 1.25M individuals. Our incubator, accelerator, and grand challenges have supported over 200 social entrepreneurs, including 17 Forbes 30U30 honorees, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, and 1 Time Magazine cover recipient.

**The Asha Kiran Program:**
The Asha Kiran program aims to catalyze impact at scale by partnering with the private sector and government to implement livelihood interventions for women in poor households. This involves a deep understanding of the value chain to create market incentives and leverage government resources to address key challenges:
* **Infrastructure:** Land and assets, Information & Technology
* **Standardisation:** Rearing practices
* **Linkages:** Forward and backward linkages for farmers
* **Collectivisation:** Through community institutions (SHGs)
The BYP program currently has 3 modules:
* **Acquisition:** Responsible for enrolling/mobilizing women into the program
* **Adoption:** Responsible for end-to-end operations, including training, planning, and managing field staff
* **Market Linkage:** Responsible for ensuring farmers’ produce receives the best price realization in the shortest time possible

**Job Location:** Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
**Responsibilities:**
* Take ownership of the entire product development process for a module, from problem identification and definition to scalable solution design, development, and piloting.
* Develop the operational framework for the program, including defining roles and responsibilities, establishing KPIs, and collaboratively managing budgets and annual goals with the operations team.
* Actively gather user insights through field observations and data analysis to continuously enhance the user experience.
* Design strategies to streamline implementation for the operations team.
* Collaborate and align with key program partners and stakeholders to deliver new launches.
**Qualifications:**
* 4-9 years of experience in designing programs/products or research and evaluation, with experience managing people.
* Experience working in a 0-1 environment while building the first leg of growth is a significant plus.
* Ability to embrace ambiguity while ensuring clear direction for short-term and medium-term growth strategies.
* Strong ability to influence stakeholders and get things done.
* Bias for action and collaboration.
* Demonstrated ability to learn continuously and collaborate.
* Written and spoken fluency in Hindi and English.
* Willingness to stay and travel in deep rural areas.
