## Implementation Coordinator

 

**Leadership For Skilled Education Foundation (LFE)** is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of public education in India. We believe that education is the key to social equity and strive to create effective government education systems that refuse to let children down. We achieve this by building the capacity of government system leaders and influencing system processes through collaborative programs and research.

 

**About the Project:**

 

LFE and Mantra4Change are partnering with the Andhra Pradesh Government to support their ambitious plan to revamp the government school system. The Supporting Andhra’s Learning Transformation (SALT) project aims to enhance human capital and reduce learning poverty across the state. This multi-organizational project focuses on improving the quality of teaching and learning in classrooms, working closely with the Department of School Education (DoSE), SCERT, SIEMAT, and DIETs.

 

**Job Location:** Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Frequent travel to rural areas across the state.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Oversee the implementation of teacher training courses and sessions in designated districts.

* Support program managers and be accountable for project outcomes across various deliverables.

* Collaborate with government stakeholders to enable their capacity and ownership of the project.

* Conduct regular update meetings with organizational and government leadership, providing progress reports in digital and print formats.

* Create timely project status and impact reports for leadership and government stakeholders.

* Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adequate support through district visits and team collaboration.

* Visit training sites, classrooms, and offices across the state to oversee implementation and gather data for future planning.

* Design and implement people management structures, including team reviews, individual check-ins, and learning circles.

* Participate in all organizational team spaces and structures.

 

**Requirements:**

 

* **Education:** Degree in education/teacher development or related social science/management discipline. A master’s degree is highly preferred.

* **Experience:** 4-7 years of experience leading large-scale training programs, preferably with the government or government school teachers. Should have led at least 1-2 projects in the government education sector at the state/district level. Proven experience in managing teacher training projects and training delivery. Experience working in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana is preferable.

* **Skills:** Excellent written and oral communication skills. Functional knowledge (oral and written) of Telugu is highly preferred. Ability to take initiative and work autonomously in a semi-structured environment. Belief in the potential of the public sector and its ability to overcome systemic inequities. Working experience or knowledge of public policy implementation is highly preferred. A basic understanding of social equity, development discourse, and education policy in India. Adaptability to changing responsibilities and resourcefulness. High openness to learning. Ability to influence people, build relationships with stakeholders, and create outstanding presentations. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite. Patience and resilience.

 

**Compensation:**

 

The individual will receive a competitive salary at par with the non-profit sector benchmark for this position, commensurate with their prior experience and qualifications. The current compensation band offered, based on fit and experience, is 5.5-7.5 lakh INR per annum CTC.
