**Experience Required:**

* Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in the fundraising sector.

* Proven track record of successfully securing funding from individual donors.

* Experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategies.

* Strong understanding of the Indian philanthropic landscape.

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our Retail Fundraising Division as a Manager/Senior Manager – Business Development (Fundraising). This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain individual donors, contributing to the overall fundraising goals of WWF-India.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement fundraising strategies to acquire and retain individual donors, focusing on high-value donors contributing between INR 20,000 – 1 lac.

* Identify and cultivate potential donors through research, networking, and relationship building.

* Develop compelling fundraising proposals and presentations to secure funding.

* Manage donor relationships, ensuring their satisfaction and continued support.

* Conduct donor outreach activities, including events, campaigns, and direct mail.

* Analyze fundraising data and prepare reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

* Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in fundraising.

* Collaborate with other departments within WWF-India to ensure alignment of fundraising efforts with overall conservation goals.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Passion for conservation and a commitment to WWF-India’s mission.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
