**About the Role**

 

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Lead plays a crucial role in developing impact strategies for the organization and its programs. This position involves designing robust M&E frameworks, conducting research, and supporting organizations with their data needs.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Collaborate with the core leadership team to develop the organization’s impact measurement strategy.

* Proactively build evidence in Mantra’s programs/interventions by supporting with data and developing robust structures to document impact.

* Engage with the research and design team to design a comprehensive M&E framework for the programs.

* Design, collaborate, and plan for data collection with field teams and organizations.

* Design and package M&E templates and resources to be disseminated with solution packages.

* Plan and partner with organizations for impact analyses, data collection, and research.

* Consolidate and analyze collected data to report insights about the programs.

* Present reports and insights to relevant stakeholders.

* Document processes and create reports as required.

* Assist in developing organization/program-specific data dashboards to showcase progress on outputs and outcomes.

* Support the team in building capacity to conduct research and design evidence-informed solutions.

* Maintain close collaboration with program teams and external technical and research partners.

 

**Experience and Competencies Required:**

 

* Minimum 3 years of experience in leading design efforts for education interventions.

* Proven ability to think critically and solve problems.

* Experience in developing and facilitating workshops and capacity-building programs.

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.

* Willingness to learn in uncertain situations.

* Excellent planning and time management skills.

* Proficiency in Python/R, Stata, and SQL.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

**Remuneration:**

 

An annual CTC of INR 7 Lakhs onwards (depending on competency and experience).
