## Project Manager – Tech & Innovation

**Selco Foundation** is an open source, not for profit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty through clean energy solutions. We work in collaboration with social sector practitioners, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs, and educational institutions to link sustainable energy with poverty eradication. 

**Job Location:** Bengaluru, Karnataka

**Experience Required:** 6-7 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, specifically solar energy.

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Project Manager to lead our Tech & Innovation team. You will be responsible for managing a team of solar designers, developing and implementing solar energy systems, and identifying and developing early-stage decentralized renewable energy products and processes. 

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage a team of solar designers in the development and implementation of solar energy systems.

* Conduct techno-commercial feasibility studies based on field surveys and recommend solar power systems.

* Coordinate with end-users, internal teams, and the supply chain network to ensure successful execution of Distributed Renewable Energy (DRE) projects.

* Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented projects to ensure they meet quality and efficiency standards.

* Implement proactive problem-solving strategies and ensure quick troubleshooting of on-site issues to minimize project delays.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.

**Qualifications:**

* Graduate with Electrical/Electronics/Energy Engineering background or a relevant hands-on experience in designing and implementing off-grid solar PV systems.

* 6-7 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, specifically solar energy.

* Ability to stay motivated when working independently.

* Willingness to travel.

* Interest and ability to communicate with communities, stakeholders, and other team members.

* Passion for working with energy and technology needs for Decentralized renewable energy-based Livelihoods.
