Established in 2016, ISDM cultivates skilled professionals committed to global social change. Recognizing the crucial role of effective management in achieving significant social impact, ISDM offers a Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGP-DM) and various capacity-building initiatives. The school is expanding its operations, including establishing Centers of Excellence, such as the Centre for Philanthropy for Inclusive Development, to further its mission of creating sustainable socio-economic and ecological progress.
**About the Centre for Philanthropy for Inclusive Development:**
The Centre aims to channel more private philanthropy towards inclusive development by influencing the mindsets and practices of funders, social purpose organizations (SPOs), and intermediaries. The goal is to drive systemic change that empowers under-resourced communities, causes, and geographies.
**Job Description:**
The Centre Lead will be responsible for setting the vision, strategic direction, and operational execution of the Centre for Philanthropy for Inclusive Development. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual capable of leading a team, managing budgets, building relationships with stakeholders, and securing funding.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement the Centre’s annual Strategic Operating Plan (SOP) in alignment with ISDM’s overall goals.
* Manage the Centre’s budget, track spending, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
* Lead stakeholder engagement, including funders, advisors, academic leaders, and external partners.
* Oversee the Centre’s governance processes and work closely with the Advisory Council.
* Secure funding through collaboration with the ISDM fundraising team.
* Build and lead a high-performing team.
* Amplify the Centre’s work through strategic communication and outreach.
* Drive innovation and collaboration within the Centre and with external partners.
**Experience Required:**
12-18 years of experience in the social sector, with a proven track record of working with philanthropists and a deep commitment to social impact.
**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**
* Stellar verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
* Strong collaborative spirit, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
