**Job Title:** District Program Lead – STEP Bihar

**Job Location:** Lakhisarai and Vaishali, Bihar, India
**Job Type:** Full-Time
**Experience Required:** Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in working with government stakeholders or in the education sector. Experience in classroom teaching and delivering educational programs with BRC, DIETs, DEOs, DPOs, and DM office is preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assess and analyze existing government education projects and develop plans to strengthen them, improving feedback mechanisms.
* Lead and co-create educational change programs with the district education department.
* Develop strategic plans aligned with project scope and focus.
* Create action plans to drive change in districts using existing tools and programs.
* Review existing structures and processes, collaborating with officials to implement improvements.
* Build strategic partnerships with various organizations (NGOs, knowledge partners, design consultants, government agencies), creating a framework for partner engagement and monitoring.
* Establish effective monitoring and evaluation processes.
**Qualifications:**
* Strong alignment with reforming the government education system and empowering schools through systemic interventions.
* Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
* Awareness of Bihar’s state-level education initiatives.
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education preferred.
* Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.
**Compensation:** INR 500,000 – 700,000 per annum (depending on competency and experience)
