**Position:** Communications Specialist, Global Energy  

**Location:** Washington D.C., London, or The Hague  

**Salary Range:**  

– US: $69,000–$78,000  

– UK: £38,000–£47,000  

– NL: €49,000–€61,000  

 

**Experience Required:**  

Minimum of 3 years in digital marketing, science communications, or related fields. Relevant work experience can substitute for a degree.

 

**Education:**  

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– **Content Development (30%):** Assist in creating communications content, including articles, social media kits, web content, and video scripts. May manage collaborative projects across offices.

– **Social Media Management (20%):** Develop and execute strategies for platforms like LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram. Manage WRI’s accounts and create graphics using tools like Canva.

– **Email and Digital Marketing (15%):** Draft and send email campaigns, manage contact databases, and conduct audience research.

– **Measurement and Evaluation (15%):** Track KPIs, prepare quarterly reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.

– **Webinars and Events (20%):** Promote and support webinars and events, including logistical assistance.

 

**Key Qualifications:**  

– Professional experience with social media platforms and tools like Mailchimp, Salesforce, Canva, Emplifi, Google Analytics, Drupal, MS Teams, and Zoom is a plus.

– Video production and design skills are advantageous.
