**Job Summary:**
The Technical Lead – EVTHS will oversee the planning and implementation of Alliance India’s Global Fund-supported national programme focused on the Elimination of Vertical Transmission of HIV and Syphilis (EVTHS). This role involves strategic planning, advocacy, policy initiatives, and technical support to sub-recipient organizations. The position requires extensive experience in maternal and child health, HIV-related programmes, and EVTHS protocols.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Develop and implement strategic plans for integrating EVTHS into the CSC 2.0 framework.
– Design and oversee program components aligned with NACO guidelines.
– Ensure integration of EVTHS services into broader care and support programs.
– Strengthen systems for post-natal care, including Early Infant Diagnosis (EID).
– Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, making necessary adaptations.
– Build relationships with ANC clinics and institutional delivery mechanisms in both public and private sectors.
– Develop training materials and conduct workshops for field staff on EVTHS protocols.
– Enhance capacity of partner organizations through sensitization and awareness-building.
– Review and contribute to project systems (Program, MIS, Finance).
– Advocate for policies and funding to support EVTHS initiatives.
– Design and implement community outreach programs to raise awareness about EVTHS.

**Qualifications/Experience:**
– Doctorate or master’s degree in social sciences, public health, or MBBS.
– At least 8 to 10 years of progressive programme management experience at the national level.
– Extensive experience managing maternal and child health, HIV-related programmes, and EVTHS protocols.
**Essential Requirements:**
– Proven experience working with government organizations (e.g., NACO, SACS).
– Demonstrated knowledge of donor relations and M&E systems.
– Ability to work with diverse teams and manage large project portfolios.
– Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
– Experience in project proposal development and budget preparation.
– Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
**Desirable Qualities:**
– Knowledge of Global Fund reporting procedures.
– Understanding of other Indian regional languages.
