**About Philanthropy Labs:**  

The Philanthropy Labs team at Dasra focuses on strengthening India’s family philanthropy infrastructure and ecosystem to accelerate equitable giving for marginalized communities. The team builds networks, communities of practice, and drives narrative change around family philanthropy. Through curated cohort engagement programs, the team supports non-profit leaders in areas such as leadership, talent development, data, systems change, collaboration, fundraising, and sector resilience.  

 

**About the Role:**  

Associates at Dasra are responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing projects that drive impactful decision-making and nurture talent within the organization. With 3-5 years of experience, Associates will support the design and execution of cohort-based capacity-building programs for non-profit leaders.  

 

 

**Key Responsibilities:**  

1. Support the team in co-designing cohort-based capacity-building programs for non-profit leaders on topics like leadership, talent development, communications, data, systems change, collaboration, fundraising, and resilience.  

2. Independently create project plans and manage delivery to ensure timely and quality program implementation, including outreach, cohort selection, participant onboarding, workshop planning, and donor reporting.  

3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including non-profit leaders, sector experts, knowledge partners, and venue partners, to build trust-based relationships for long-term partnerships.  

4. Contribute to content creation, session design, and facilitate smaller cohort discussions. Support business development activities such as grant writing and budget planning.  

5. Engage in team- and organization-level management activities, including staffing, reporting, and internal taskforces. Translate insights into actionable learnings to nurture talent and build internal capabilities.  

 

 

**Skills Required:**  

– 3-5 years of experience in the Indian development sector with expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, research, communications, and multi-stakeholder collaboration.  

– Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives.  

– Project management skills, including defining scopes, planning, managing teams, budgets, and adhering to deadlines.  

– Ability to engage senior non-profit leaders, intermediaries, and funders with trust and confidence.  

– Entrepreneurial attitude, flexibility, and creativity in a resource-constrained environment.
