**Job Description: Programme Director (EoDB)**

**Role Overview:**
The Programme Director (Ease of Doing Business – EoDB) will lead state-level regulatory reforms to enhance business growth by reducing regulatory burdens. This role involves conceptualizing and overseeing high-quality research products, engaging with government partners, managing projects, and leading a team of analysts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Drive state-level regulatory reforms to ease enterprise operations and boost economic growth.
– Conceptualize and produce actionable knowledge products, including data analysis, legal analysis, and computational thinking.
– Lead reform engagement with government partners, including building high-trust relationships with officials and converting discussions into action through policy analyses and file management.
– Establish and maintain relationships with institutions for collaborative reforms and communicate findings through various media platforms.
– Oversee project planning, budgeting, and evaluation to ensure timely achievement of objectives.
– Coach and manage team members, focusing on their performance, growth, and skill enhancement.
**Qualifications:**
– Master’s or PhD in Economics, Law, Political Science, Public Policy, or Business.
– At least 10 years of experience in economic policy, government engagement, or related fields in think tanks, law firms, consulting, or government bodies.
– Proven history in published research and experience as a practice leader or second-in-command.
– Strong knowledge of public administration, law, and public economics in India.
– Excellent writing, analytical, negotiation, and team management skills.
