**Job Description: Chief Operating Officer (COO)**

**Experience Required:**
– Master’s degree with 18+ years of professional experience, including senior leadership roles in management consulting from a top-tier firm.
– Proven track record of operational leadership in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
– Strong understanding of governance, public finance, or capacity-building in Indian states is desirable.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO to translate organizational strategy into operational plans and ensure alignment across teams.
– Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, design streamlined workflows, and implement mechanisms to track performance metrics.
– Workforce Planning & Resource Management: Optimize human, technological, and financial resources; collaborate with finance and fundraising teams to secure sustainable funding streams.
– Stakeholder Collaboration: Strengthen relationships with key partners, including state governments and philanthropic funders.
– Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with legal standards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
