**Job Description**

**Position:** Research Assistant (Applied Business Finance)  

**Company:** Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA)  

**Location:** On-campus office at IIMA; candidates should be located near IIMA  

**Experience Required:**  

– Prior background in Finance, Management, Accounting, Statistics, or related fields.  

– Familiarity with case writing and qualitative research methods.  

– Excellent academic record and prior research experience.  

– Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).  

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– Develop case studies and contribute to ongoing research projects.  

– Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports for academic publications.  

**Qualifications:**  

– Academic background in relevant fields.  

– Research experience and a strong interest in an academic or research career.  

**Tenure:**  

– Initial appointment of six months, with possible extension up to one year based on performance appraisal.  

**Compensation:**  

– Aligned with qualifications and experience following IIMA norms for Research Assistants.  

**Reporting To:**  

– Prof. Sobhesh Kumar Agarwalla, Prof. Hari Mundra, and other faculty in the Finance & Accounting Area.
