**Job Title:** Deputy Director, Fundraising

**Location:** Delhi NCR, India
**Experience Required:** At least 12 years of professional experience fundraising in the social sector and managing donor relations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Lead and manage a six-member resource mobilisation team to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
– Develop and execute a resource mobilisation strategy to achieve VisionSpring’s goal of serving 2.2M people by 2025, with a fundraising target of $2.5M in India.
– Build and diversify donor relationships, including high-net-worth individuals, foundations, corporate social responsibility partners, and government agencies.
– Manage a portfolio of key accounts, including grants, contracts, and donors, while representing VisionSpring at industry events and forums.
– Oversee proposal development, donor reporting, and stewardship activities to maintain strong donor relationships.
– Travel domestically for 40-60% of the time.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s degree in business, international development, economics, communications, marketing, sales, sociology, or another relevant field.
– Exceptional communication skills in English, including proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
– Leadership experience managing a team of four or more people.
– Proven ability to manage a national philanthropic portfolio with revenue performance of $2M+.
– Strong organizational and team management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple initiatives effectively.
– Willingness to travel extensively within India.
– Must be legally authorized to work in India for a minimum of five years.
