**Experience Required:**
– Overall working experience: 6-8 years
– Minimum 4 years in DevOps with AWS and security automation
– Preferred certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / AWS Security Specialty
**Key Qualifications:**
– **Essential Skills:** Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK), network security, identity management, vulnerability assessment, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), scripting (Python, Bash), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS), secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), SAST/DAST tools, cloud architecture, and compliance.
– **Preferred Skills:** Security-as-Code tools (Checkov, TFSec), centralized logging/monitoring (CloudWatch, ELK Stack).
**Essential Experience:**
– Automating security checks in CI/CD pipelines
– Implementing least privilege access control
– Securing infrastructure provisioning and deployments
– Conducting threat modeling and vulnerability remediation
– Enforcing compliance with standards like ISO, HIPAA
– Working knowledge of secure networking (VPCs, firewalls)

**Key Roles/Responsibilities:**
1. Build and maintain AWS cloud environments with infrastructure as code.
2. Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
3. Automate security scans, testing, and compliance validation.
4. Support secure deployment of applications in containers and serverless setups.
5. Implement cloud-native logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
6. Manage secrets, certificates, and access securely.
7. Collaborate with development, infosec, and operations teams to enforce DevSecOps best practices.
8. Document configurations, procedures, and known issues.
9. Conduct internal training on DevOps, secure coding, and best security practices.
10. Respond to security incidents and participate in audits and reviews.
11. Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance mandates, and performance KPIs.
