**Job Description**
**Position:** Senior Associate – Gender and Health

**About IHAT:**
India Health Action Trust (IHAT) was established in 2003 as a Charitable Trust with a vision to address health and social inequities, particularly among vulnerable populations. IHAT collaborates with governments to achieve public health goals, focusing on HIV, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, nutrition, and health systems strengthening.
**Experience Required:**
5 years of relevant work experience in gender equality, public health, or development programming. Experience managing fellows or interns is preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Programmatic Support:** Implement and monitor IHAT’s Gender Equality Strategy and GenEqual project, integrating gender equity into health programs.
2. **Research & Documentation:** Conduct research, prepare reports, and maintain knowledge repositories on gender-related resources.
3. **Capacity Building:** Organize workshops, engage stakeholders, and participate in advocacy campaigns for gender equity.
4. **Monitoring & Evaluation (MEL):** Develop gender-sensitive indicators, analyze data, and support program adaptations.
5. **Operational Support:** Coordinate meetings, manage documentation, and assist with procurement and financial processes.
