**Position Overview:**
The/Nudge is partnering with the Government of Odisha to address presbyopia through its InSight program. This role will lead the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) in Keonjhar, overseeing the design and implementation of a program for screening and distributing near-vision glasses to individuals over 35 in rural areas.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Own program implementation and outcomes.
– Provide leadership and managerial support to field teams.
– Manage District and Block professionals for quality implementation.
– Develop processes for onboarding, capacity building, monitoring, and feedback.
– Collaborate with financial units to manage budgets effectively.
– Work closely with the State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) on screening, procurement, distribution, and adoption workflows.
– Support research and development of strategies to enhance productivity and income through near-vision solutions.
– Implement projects across selected blocks and districts.
– Review program progress and iterate for scaling.
– Utilize data and technology for continuous field data flow.
– Build relationships with key government stakeholders for successful strategy adoption.
**Qualifications:**
– About 9+ years of experience, postgraduate degree preferred.
– Demonstrated success in leading initiatives under uncertainty.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English and Odia.
– Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
– Experience managing multi-stakeholder development programs with SHGs and community institutions.
– Willingness to travel extensively and live in designated areas.
– Passion for serving communities with humility and sensitivity.
**Language Requirements:**
Fluency in English and Odia (Odia) is mandatory.
