**Position Summary:**

The Director, Finance will lead the financial strategy, governance, and compliance for Teach For India. Reporting to the Senior Director, Impact & Operations, this role oversees core finance functions including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and donor compliance. The ideal candidate will drive financial excellence, enhance team performance, and support the organization’s mission.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Manage the Finance team to ensure high performance and compliance.

– Oversee financial systems, reporting, and processes for efficiency and accuracy.

– Lead budgeting, forecasting, and MIS activities using NetSuite.

– Ensure donor compliance, statutory reporting, and cash management.

– Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

– Foster a culture of operational excellence and team development.

**Qualifications:**

– CA/MBA (Finance) from a reputable institute with at least 15 years post-qualification experience.

– Preferably 10+ years in financial roles within the social sector.

– Experience leading teams, managing budgets, and driving automation.

– Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership skills.

– Belief in educational equity and passion for the organization’s mission.
