**Position:** Program Manager – Strategy, Policy & Planning
**Location:** New Delhi
**About the Organization:**
A-PAG (Air Pollution Action Group) was established in 2019 by Ashish Dhawan, Vijay Chadda, and Mohit Beotra. A-PAG focuses on implementing strategic solutions to combat air pollution, supporting governments at national and state levels through pro-bono initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Understand and analyze the policy landscape, including laws, regulations, and trends impacting air pollution.
– Conduct in-depth research on policy issues, market trends, and best practices to develop evidence-based strategies.
– Design and plan pilot projects for clean air City Action Plans under NCAP, defining goals, objectives, and KPIs.
– Engage with stakeholders such as government officials, experts, and citizen groups to align policies and gather support.
**Eligibility:**
– Master’s degree in Public Policy, Environment Policy, or Social Sciences; Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance is required.
– 1-3 years of work experience in analytical roles or policy research in the government or development sector.
**Skills Required:**
– Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office tools and statistical analysis (e.g., Excel, Stata).
– Comfort with ambiguous environments and ability to work independently.
**Compensation:**
Compensation will be aligned with social sector norms.
