**Job Title:** Finance Manager

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
– Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets in alignment with programmatic goals.
– Develop financial strategies to optimize fund use and ensure sustainability.
– Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements compliant with accounting standards.
– Generate periodic financial reports for management, donors, and stakeholders.
– Maintain records and documentation for audit readiness.
– Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and labor laws.
– Liaise with auditors and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets.
– Monitor grant budgets, disbursements, and donor reporting requirements.
– Prepare financial reports as per donor specifications.
– Lead and mentor the finance team for high performance.
– Conduct training sessions to enhance financial literacy.
– Collaborate with program teams to align financial planning with project activities.
– Act as a financial point of contact for external stakeholders, including banks and vendors.
**Qualifications:**
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
– Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CMA are highly desirable.
**Experience:**
– Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts management, preferably in the development sector/NGO environment.
– Experience in managing grants, FCRA compliance, and donor reporting is advantageous.
**Skills and Competencies:**
– Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
– Strong knowledge of accounting standards, budgeting, and financial reporting.
– Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
