About Vardhishnu:
Vardhishnu is a Jalgaon (Maharashtra) based Not-For-Profit working in the education space to provide street children – especially the child waste pickers and child laborers a safe, secure, and happy childhood. Vardhishnu has 3 programs – Anandghar, Anandghar Fellowship, and Anandghar Community Collectives.
Background of ACCP:
Anandghar Community Collectives Program (ACCP) is born out of Vardhishnu’s mission of creating an eco- system of learning & support for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds by partnering with individuals, institutions, and initiatives. It is 1-year unique support (incubation) program designed to share Vardhishnu’s learning & knowledge with early-stage organizations & individuals from lower-tier cities/villages with no or limited exposure to the modern-day development sector – who are working with a similar set of beneficiaries like Vardhishnu, to help their initiative grow & get structurize, and for creating a sustainable movement in the society.
Location: Jalgaon, Maharashtra.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The role of Program Coordinator (ACCP) offers young, motivated, and energetic people the opportunity to be an integral member of Vardhishnu’s ACCP team, and act as the crucial link between the ACCP initiatives (Cohort Members) and the ACCP’s internal team. His/her responsibilities stretch two ways – supporting the Anandghar Community Collectives Program in planning and implementation of the program as well as supporting and maintaining a good relationship with a wide spectrum of social entrepreneurs, understanding their work, and supporting them within the scope of ACCP.
Primary responsibilities of Program Coordinator include, but doesn’t limit to:
- Be the 1st level of support to the ACCP initiatives & respond to their queries.
- Being the primary communication channel and responsible for effective coordination between Vardhishnu & ACCP initiatives.
- Handle social media engagements of ACCP.
- Participate in all the ACCP engagements: Onboarding initiatives, conducting workshops & monthly
follow-up calls, organizing webinars, going for field visits, etc. - Assist in M&E assessments.
Skills & Abilities:
Must have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hindi & English.
- Ability to build rapport with people from different academic, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds.
- Have strong networking & relationship skills.
- Should have entrepreneurial mindset & be passionate to learn new things.
- Willingness to travel to rural areas of India, with limited amenities.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Ability to work well in teams and alone.
- Knowledge of essential documentation tools like MS office, canva, etc.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong work ethics and attention to detail.
Good to Have
- Exposure of the non-profit sector.
- Experience in project management & planning.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Understanding of Marathi Language.
Qualification: Graduation / Post-graduation in Social Work, Social Sciences, Development, Management, or any other stream from a reputed institute.
Experience: Min 1 yr in the development sector.
Salary: Rs. 3.0 to Rs. 3.2 LPA.
