We leverage on ground  presence and the use of data and technology tools to strengthen last mile delivery of programs to the  most vulnerable populations.  

About the Position  

We are looking for an experienced professional who is keen on taking up Associate role in a project focused towards the issues like air pollution, energy transition, urban planning and sustainablity. The work will be focused around developing high quality research documents, along with need assessment, situation analysis, data analysis, brainstorming with relevant stakeholders and collaborating with the allied departments or stakeholders of the Government. The Associate will be expected to come up with critical research inputs, contribute in management of field associates in their functioning, managing the insights generated from operation on ground and come up with relevant and significant policy recommendations. The position provides tremendous opportunity to get exposure to multiple domains while working with the policy makers and allied departments of the government.

Base location of operation: New Delhi 

Travel requirement: Occasional 

Qualifications  

  • Post-graduate degree in any field with a preference for those possessing a degree in environment, urban planning, disaster management, energy and other similar disciplines 
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in working with policymakers with a strong preference for those working on issues of air pollution/clean air policy, renewable energy etc.
  • At least 3 years of experience of working in research positions 
  • Prior experience of working with multilateral agencies and large foundations will be favourably  looked upon

Responsibilities 

  • Providing technical assistance and knowledge support to parliamentarians and key government bodies
  • Support the project lead in management of team members placed in various locations
  • Coordination of actions by team members on ground in various locations
  • Developing high quality research documents on the topic of concern relating to environment, air pollution, renewables, climate and energy 
  • Presenting recommendations to high level stakeholders in the Government 
  • Strategy formulation and implementation of pilot projects
  • Represent the organisation on relevant platforms
  • Stakeholder management and communication
