LEVEL: Officer/Sr. Officer
REPORTING TO: AM/Manager
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- Supervising teachers from Communicative English Program
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Management
● Write, edit, proofread and review conventional/multimedia content for all in-class Activities of Communicative English Program
● Support, edit, and proofread conventional/multimedia content for all other peripheral activities
● Upgrade/Suggest and review changes in conventional/multimedia curriculum for higher, lower, and remedial levels
● Write, edit, proofread and review conventional/multimedia content for internal and external communication
● Create/Suggest Edits and review weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly and need-based templates for and reports to be submitted by self and team
● Conceptualize, design, and create process notes, annexures, new activity proposals and need-based documents, reports and addendums
Technology Integration
● Create and upgrade conventional/multimedia testing mechanisms for students
● Create conventional/multimedia language assessment mechanism for teachers
● Ensure a fair use of technology tools throughout all Communicative English Program activities
● Suggest improvements and ways to adapt the technology for improvement in student learning outcomes.
Team Management
● Train and mentor teachers of the assigned schools/content teachers
● Be responsible for scheduling and handling escalated issues
● Check records and reports of team members
● Observe the class and facilitation and develop training for team
Documentation & Reporting
● Follow all reporting systems daily / weekly / monthly
● Maintain and record all data as per internal processes
Training & Development
● Contribute with ideas to improve teaching methodologies
● Constant Research on learning and teaching methods.
● Participate in the regular training program organized for the team.
Development
● Support Asst. Manager in research
● Support program evaluation and give inputs
● Innovate on creative teaching methods
● Ideate and introduce in-house development workshops
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
MA/BA in English, M.Ed/B. Ed + Exp in Digital Content Creation is an added advantage
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years
WORK SKILLS: Content creation-related experience is a must, preferably secondary school, willing to travel to slum area schools.
ATTRIBUTES: Creative, good communicator, patient, disciplined.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
NATURE OF JOB: Permanent on payroll/Contract
LOCATION: HO (Deonar, Mumbai)/ On-Field
HOURS OF WORK: 8 hours and 6 days a week with two week-offs.
