Position Objectives

To assist with recording donations for PETA India s databases and accounting systems
To coordinate responses to member phone calls, e-mails, and letters
To provide the Fundraising Department with general administrative support

Primary Responsibilities And Duties

Ensure that all member donations are accurately processed and recorded in PETA India s databases and financial systems within required timelines
Verify and input donor data into the membership database, including demographic, membership, and personal information
Ensure that donor records are kept up to date and are accurate
Ensure that all contact information for members is up to date
Handle responses to communications from members (including phone calls, e-mails, and letters) in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
Ensure that member acknowledgements and receipts are sent to donors in accordance with required timelines
Organise and maintain the Fundraising Department s administrative systems and procedures, including fundraising sample files
Assist with preparing and updating various fundraising reports
Sort incoming mail and faxes and distribute them within the Fundraising Department in a prompt manner, responding as appropriate
Perform general administrative tasks to support the Fundraising Department
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
