We are looking for a Video Producer/Editor to help create videos for use in our communication campaigns across social media, website, and other platforms. The videos on designing training curriculum, professional learning programs, and marketing campaigns will also form a key component at Protsahan. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in motion graphics design and video editing, and familiar with every stage of video production including writing, directing, producing, documentary filming, lighting, interviewing, audio recording, cinematography, video editing, audio editing, sound design, music supervision, color correction, motion graphics, design for motion, illustration, typography, color theory, and photography. As a Video Producer/Editor, you will work closely with the Programs team, who will collaborate with you on projects and act as a thought partner and advisor on communication strategy for individual projects.

Key Job Responsibilities

The Video Producer will work to deliver videos that align with our brand and that represent the high production value our stakeholders have come to expect.

• Post-production: Design and implement motion graphics for videos. Design conceptual graphic assets for use in videos and related marketing materials (Figma, Photoshop). Edit videos (Premiere) of multiple lengths for multiple uses and distribution on a wide range of channels. Edit sound (Audition)
• Pre-production: Collaborate across teams to help scope video needs and requirements across projects. Collaborate with the Program team across Girl Empowerment Centers at Protsahan, and other venues of programmatic interventions on pre-production: scripting, storyboarding, talent recruitment, etc. Researching topics. Storyboarding, Writing, and Scripting in consultation with the Programs team.
• Production: Collect and maintain talent releases for shoots. Produce and direct video shoots, conducting interviews, and cinematography. Set up lighting and provide set and art direction. Shoot interviews and live-action (e.g. in a classroom), including b-roll. Record any necessary voiceover as required for a specific social media platform, etc.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

We are looking for a self-starter and fast learner with the ability to pay strict attention to detail. You should be an excellent communicator that is able to multitask, excel under pressure, and work independently with a geographically dispersed team. As our ideal candidate, you are tech-savvy and able to swiftly prioritize duties as needed. You should be flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced, start-up environment. You are expected to have

• At Least 6+ years of experience in a relevant video production role
• Experience with design, illustration, and animation required
• Experience with creating style frames and storyboards required
• Experience with video shoot production, lighting, and direction required
• Experience with video editing and production specifically for social media required
• Experience with selecting music for video along with good sound editing and Adobe Audition preferred

Skills

• High proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects
• High proficiency in motion graphics design
• Simple illustration skills are a plus
• Knowledge of animation and design principles
• Knowledge of typography, color theory, design, infographics, and interfaces
• Knowledge of codecs and compressions for different target platforms and social media platforms
• Knowledge of video requirements, limitations, and optimization on social media platforms
• Awareness of new digital technologies to leverage for easing workflow
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel to implementation sites as and when required and the ability to work as part of a diverse grassroots NGO field team

Location: Delhi NCR (willingness to travel if and when required)
