Job Opportunity for Associate – Outreach & Partnerships at Waste Warriors in Dehradun

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and establish relationships and partnerships with the local establishments, various associations, and local bodies and authorities, including Ward Counsellor, Village Pradhan, Municipal Commissioner, and Forest Officers
• Coordinate and conduct IEC and Outreach activities with the local community and tourists
• Lead and conduct awareness activities with the local community and tourists
• Collect accurate data and feedback that can be used to evaluate and measure project impact
• Maintain documentation and reports related to IEC-related activities and events
• Assist with forming, planning, conducting, and monitoring awareness programs
• Contribute to developing IEC strategies
• Provide inputs for preparing budgets for IEC activities
• Serve as the IEC link between the various components of the project
• Supervise IEC consultants as required and implementation of the components.
• Assist with developing effective awareness materials for print and online posts
• Conduct fund-raising activities and set up canopies in identified tourist areas
• Help Project Manger arrange periodic processes & impact evaluation reviews of IEC activities

Job Requirement

Looking for a Candidate who:

● Preferably has a qualification in Waste management.

● Has a genuine interest in working in the social sector.

● Is passionate about the environment and a cleaner world.

● Is at least bilingual (must be able to speak English and Hindi fluently).

● Has prior experience in project planning, coordination, and management in the Social Sector
