The AGCO Agriculture Foundation (AAF), initiated by AGCO Corporation in 2018, is a private foundation with the vision to prevent and relieve hunger through action-oriented agricultural development projects. The Foundation was launched as a thought leader on corporate philanthropy and shared value creation through support of our AGCO purpose. We concentrate on farmer-focused solutions and impact programs to sustainably and equitably feed our world.

Our three key focus areas enable us to explore and identify pathways to transform food systems, contribute to food security, achieve agricultural prosperity and support farming communities and farmers in their critical mission to produce food for the growing population.

As an agriculture-focused Foundation committed to a farmer centric approach and impact driven initiatives for a food-secure world, we recognise the importance of facilitating access to quality agricultural education and training programs that support agricultural transformation, enhancement of capacity building and skill development of farmers, including youth and women. The AGCO Agriculture Foundation is positioned as a thought leader on corporate philanthropy and shared value creation through support of our AGCO purpose and Farmer-First strategy. The AGCO Agriculture Foundation is a testament to AGCO’s farmer-focused solutions to sustainably feed our world.

For this Call for Applications for Grant (CAG) , we are primarily focused on funding requests that align with our focus pillar two: Advancement of quality education, research and innovation in agriculture in order to meet our Foundation statements:

  • Vision—Holistic approach to the prevention and relief of hunger.
  • Mission—Initiate impactful programs to support food security and sustainable agricultural development in communities around the world.
  • Purpose—Build needed agricultural infrastructure to meet increasing nutrition needs.

Budget range: $200,000 – $450,000 USD

Eligibility

This grant funding is open to non-profits and public universities/educational institutions and specifically focused on project proposals that aligned strongly with strategic focus pillar two: Advancement of quality education, research and innovation in agriculture.  This Call for Grant Applications (CAG) will consider proposals that increase the capacity of farmers, farming communities, young people and/or women, and facilitates access to the tools, training, activities, and support they need to continuously improve their practices, build resiliency and improve their profitability and contribute to a food-secure world. Only applications submitted under this pillar and through this Benevity platform will be reviewed for funding consideration.
