Job description:
Development Alternatives with support from C.H. Robinson has developed a mobile application called Saarthi Sewa with an aim to improve the quality of life of containerised truck drivers and helpers through digital solutions. This app provides them with access to social security schemes rolled out by government and support on following themes:
- Health
- Insurance
- Food Joints
- Resting Places
- Digital Documentation
- Training Opportunities.
Role
- Managing data and communicating with key stakeholders to ensure that the Saarthi Sewa Mobile App is more robust.
- Identifying key persons in the ministries and other offices required for successful execution of the plan.
- Support in Identifying leads and ways to develop initial contacts and engage regularly with identified stakeholders.
- Keeping track of government plans/schemes, laws, legislations.
- Assisting in the establishment of a coalition with key stakeholders and Organising Stakeholder consultation in order to further strengthen coalition.
- Keeping track of all the schemes related to truck drivers (government & initiatives of other organizations and corporates having app similar with ours).
- Research & secondary data collection for collecting data on abovementioned themes from across India.
