Internship Opportunity – Strategic Communication Intern at Central Square Foundation in New Delhi

Central Square Foundation is on the lookout for a young and enthusiastic Intern as a member of the Strategic Communications team. PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time role.

About CSF:

Central Square Foundation is a non-profit organization working with the vision of ensuring quality school education for all children in India. Since 2012, we have been partnering with the government, and ecosystem stakeholders to improve the learning outcomes of children, especially from low-income communities.

Our work is focused on three impact areas – Foundational Learning, EdTech, and Early Childhood Education.

To achieve our goal of enabling positive transformation in school education, we work with the Centre and State Governments:

  • We provide technical expertise and project support to the government(s) to demonstrate scalable and sustainable impact on learning outcomes.
  • We partner with social impact organizations to align on sustainable ways of improving learning outcomes.
  • We collaborate with the private sector, and the wider ecosystem to undertake research, build and disseminate evidence, and create public goods on critical issues around Education practices.

Duties and responsibilities:

The intern will work closely with the Project Lead/Manager of the Strategic Communications team on a daily basis and support in ideation of social media content and execution across CSF’s platforms: LinkedIn; Twitter & Facebook.

The Intern would play a leading role in brainstorming and ideating around engaging education related content for consumption to our target audiences.

Duration of Internship: *FOUR months (December 2022 – March 2023)

Key Roles:

  • Support in developing new, high quality content such as success stories/ case studies/ human interest stories from onground projects in CSF’s Focus and Strategic States.

Social Media & Website:

  • Support with ideation, planning of social media daily posting, exclusive campaigns around foundational learning, EdTech etc.
  • Support the Project Manager in exclusive online events and coordinate with internal teams for content and developing a content framework.
  • Liaise and support the Strat. Comms team in monitoring digital performance of CSF channels on a monthly basis.
  • Working closely with the Strat Comms team to ensure that the website reflects the high quality standards of CSF and content material at all times.

Key Attributes:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate in Mass Communications/ Journalism/ English/ Advertising and PR.
  • Interest in Education / school education reforms and allied topics of gender and access.
  • Working knowledge and deep interest in the latest social media engagement trends.
  • Excellent communications skills in English and ability to produce high quality content.
  • Understanding of data analysis and website traffic measurement skills will be an added advantage.

*NOTE: The internship period can be extended after a discussion with the TMOD team at CSF based on performance and output.
