**About iTeach Schools:**

iTeach Schools is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education for students from low-income communities in India.  Currently operating 12 free secondary schools and a college-to-career program in Pune and Navi Mumbai, iTeach serves over 4500 students and 3000 alumni.  With a staff of 300, iTeach partners with Municipal Corporations to co-create effective school models and aims to expand to 30 schools and 10,000 students in the next five years.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Account Management:** Handle all accounting transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, receipts, bank reconciliations); oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings; review and update financial vouchers; ensure prompt and accurate bank payments; manage reimbursements and petty cash; utilize Tally for meticulous finance records; compute and manage statutory dues (PF, PT, TDS); conduct payroll management; document donations accurately and ensure compliance; regularly audit school finances through on-site visits.

* **Audit Assistance:** Compile and organize financial records for audit purposes; prepare audit schedules and documentation; respond to auditor inquiries.

* **Operations Support:** Assist the Operations team with organizational events; coordinate tasks with banks, vendors, and external partners.

**Prerequisites:**

* **Required:** Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field with a strong foundation in accounts, taxation, and financial compliance.

* **Required:** At least two years of professional experience in Accounts and Finance.

* **Required:** Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Tally) and advanced MS Excel skills.

* **Preferred:** Familiarity with Income Tax (TDS) regulations and labour laws (PF, PT, ESIC).

**Compensation and Benefits:**

The salary range for this position is 3.6 – 4 LPA CTC. Benefits include PF, gratuity, medical insurance (up to 3 lakh PA), paid leaves, annual increments, and promotion opportunities.
