## Accounts Associate
**Swaniti Initiative** is a non-profit organization that works with state and local governments to strengthen public service delivery. We aim to create a positive impact on the lives of citizens by building capacity in government institutions and promoting innovative approaches to service delivery.
**Job Location:** Delhi, India
**Experience Required:** 2-4 years of experience in accounting and finance.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist in the day-to-day accounting functions, including recording transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Manage and reconcile bank accounts, including preparing bank reconciliations.
* Process invoices and payments, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Maintain and update accounting records, including fixed assets, inventory, and accounts payable.
* Prepare tax returns and other regulatory filings.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
* Assist with audits and other financial reporting requirements.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* 2-4 years of experience in accounting and finance.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
