Position Brief

We are looking for an Accounts Associate* to work from our office in Dehradun. You will be working with the Finance department in tight collaboration with the project teams and will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes within the organization.

*The designation will be decided based on skills and experience as per the organization’s benchmark. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions using Tally ERP Cost Center Wise.
  • To check all bills & vouchers, & verify cash reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and any other Documentation. 
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable on a monthly basis.
  • To Ensure timely deposition of bank payments.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance team and prepare financial statements every month.
  • Prepare Donations receipts for Indian and FCRA Donations.
  • To Prepare and Verify the profit & Loss A/c. of MRF (Material Recovery Facility).
  • Stock Verification and Reconciliation of MRF (Material Recovery Facility).
  • Prepare various Financial documents as and when required
  • Assistance in payroll, internal, and statutory audits as and when required.
  • Assistance in the monthly closing process and making corrections/changes/adjustment entries
  • Maintain records of all data and evaluate product improvement recommendations. 
  • Adhere to the company’s or organization’s financial policies and procedures.

Skills and Attributes

  • A degree/diploma in Finance/Accounts/Certificate in Commerce.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and respect calendars and schedules.
  • Proactive, creative, and with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Able to effectively manage workload and demonstrated capacity to deliver work from any location.
  • Hardworking, confident, and diligent.
  • Great communication skills and a strong quantitative background.
  • Along with a proven track record of successfully handling accounts.
  • The ideal candidate should be a team player, enjoy working with a variety of clients, and know basic accounting functions.
